You can't, and shouldn't.

There is a range of gestation dates for the dogs, so perhaps she really is not overdue.

Even if she is, this is a job for the vet, not a pet owner.

Good Luck!

There is no way that I know of, to induce your dogs labor. The dog will go into labor when she is ready and the puppies are ready. Take her temperature, if it has dropped to around 100 degree she will be going into labor within the next 24-48 hours. If you truly feel that the dog is overdue and something may be wrong take the dog into the vet. One of the first puppies may be too large for her to pass naturally and a c-section may be needed. Good Luck :)

You can't. And you better be sure she is overdue. They can be pregnant for 60 to 63 days on an average. If she hasn't had her puppies by that time, you need to take her to the vet. A puppy can be stuck and will cause you to lose the litter and maybe the mother dog as well.

questions like this scare me - what makes you think you need to go messing with something like this?? Consult with your vet - they are trained to know when and how to intervene - you could wind up doing real harm to your dog and the puppies!

Ask a Vetenarian, don't do it yourself, because you could harm your dog. Maybe she is not over due.
