A wise old owl lived in an oak.
The more he saw, the less he spoke.
The less he spoke, the more he heard.
That wise old owl was a wise old bird.

Yes, that is excellent advice. Many of us, and I include myself, do not know when to shut up and listen. We are much too busy pushing our own ideas and agenda to listen to what the other guy has to saw. If we were better listeners instead of talkers, we would learn much more. That owl was in deed a wise old bird. Listen and learn from him/her.

Chow!!!

How intelligent the Owl is, does not profit any theory, if he does not share it,
I would trade a owl for a Canary any day.

A wise old owl read from a book.
The more he read, the less he looked.
The less he looked, the more he believed.
He martyred himself himself, now aren't you relieved?

Yes that is very good advice for all of us. It says that if you are silent and look around you that you will see and hear more of what is taking place. When all we do is talk we miss the bigger picture and learn nothing.

Yes, you can't hear if you spend all your time vocalizing.
