Getting more and more pissed the more i think about it. So heres the story:
GF and I are 6 months in
She says her and her ex are cool and are friends now
She says her ex wants to catch up, so they go to dinner together....alone
Fine... i can deal, with some trust and understanding
Now, she's going to mutual friends party, doesnt want me to go cause her ex is going to be there and doesnt want to create any ackward moments even though, they are "cool" and only "friends" with "no feelings for eachother" F*** that sh!t, thats my opinion, what about you?

I agree with you. There is something goging on between them that she does not want you to see. It may not be cheating, but if they were "cool" she would bring you to the party

I agree with you, you should go to the party, and as long as he knows about you, then why should there be any "ackward moments" if there are no feelings there... I would never do that to a guy, my ex is my ex for a reason, and I don't want to have any contact with them...

I will not permit any women of mine to meet with an ex to catch up. That right there is off limits. Catch up on what?

she is totally going back to her ex. step in and insist that as the other half of the original couple of you and her, you should have a right to go to the party with her as her escort. she should not be telling you what to do simply because "he" will be there. she's definately pullin something on you man.

I can agree with you, I'd be pissed too if my boyfriend went to a party with his ex.. hell i'd even be jealous if he went out to dinner with his ex. I give you credit for putting up with that.

I think your girfriend is wanting to have her cake and eat it to. So if you don't want to share her, then dump her., and let her so called EX/friend pick up the pieces, believe me he will. then you'll know ....
sorry your going through this.. it's a bummer

Sorry to say but she is putting herself in a tempting position. I would be upset as well. I would ask her not to go and if she does then she is jeopardizing your relationship. Ask her to tell you how she would feel if it were you going to that party to meet an x????

Your g/f is not being considerate of your feelings and she is not worth your time and effort. You have to tell her how you feel and if she does not understand I say dump her.
