how do you know when your hair is too thick?

i'm at a point where I don't know my hair is thick or not
cause i want to grow long hair, and i've never grown long hair before
sometimes it looks thick sometimes it doesn't
the last haircut i had was 2 months ago, but i heard growing long hair doesn't require me to get a haircut that often

The longer you go without a trim the more your hair will break and split at the ends. Every time you get a trim, your hair will grow faster. Hope this helps!

you would know it its thick or not just by looking at it and of course you will not need a haircut as often if you are letting it grow becasue it no longer has to look good

If you want your hair to grow long, you need to keep the "ends" tripmmed. Otherwise, you will have split ends and the growth of your hair will be inhibited.

You need to get it cut more often for it to grow.
Its best if its every two weeks.

Have a well established hairstylist to "thin" out your hair with a special pair of shears. A great cut will make this entire process better.

IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GROW IT...DONT CUT IT...CUTTING ITS COUNTERPRODUCTIVE
especially if you are a guy...wait at least 6 months for a trim...your hair is more than likely to short to be damaged..unless you blowdry everyday..........

don't grow your hair long. it won't look right unless your in a rock band.
