Oh YUCK head lice can be so nasty.
I use baby oil when my girls get it. I poor alot on their head so it looks like its wet. Then I put a plastic bag on their head where the hair is. (This helps sufficate them) I wait a good half hour. Then I brush their hair. Then I use the metal lice comb. (The metal ones work better than those plastic ones.) The eggs come out so much easier with the baby oil too. To get the baby oil out though you have to do a few shampoos. Thats the only down fall. I hope that this helps for you.

My niece had lice from one of her classmates as well. It took my sister about 2 weeks to get rid of them all. Remember to use the shampoo, and the comb, as well as check everyone else in the house for them.

this is a very time consuming process....you have to get a very fine toothed comb made especially for removing nits and comb them out.
also put all her stuffed animals and pillows and blankets in a plastic bag for 2 weeks to make sure any lice on them are dead.

You can use the comb that came with the treatment and you can pick them out one by one. Grab them with you finger nails and run them down the strand. I know of no other way. Been there done that. Its ime consuming.

use fine comb in her hair every night before bed for two weeks to make sure you got them out.....take her bedding off everyday for 2 weeks and put in dryer on high heat for 20 minutes to kill anything that falls out of her hair onto her bed and pillow...Do you know how she got it? If you think it was from her pre-school Tell them immediately...

they sell an egg remover gel at wal mart that helps you comb them out or you can use your nails. The gel works easier
