Obviously, the parrot... it's not dumb enough to actually believe it.

The parrot is smarter. At least a parrot can learn how to spell. Christians on the other hand ...

To answer that question ask another:

Which is smarter: a parrot or someone who quotes sterotypes about Christians like a parrot?

The answer to both is identical.

They are about the same. The parrot doesn't understand what its saying and usually the christian who goes around parroting the bible doesn't understand what it is saying, either.

a christian who qoutes the bible is always smarter. as they can somewhere along the line reason and question and find out more about their Faith.

brother do u know that parrots dont speak. parrots and parakeets will only imitate the voices they hear and they dont actually speak. they just listen and and try mimicking.

btw, if u are wondering if i'm a christian, the no i'm a muslim. and why me support them? bcoz Allah says that beleive in jesus-pbuh and his Injil (original Bible) as he was a prophet sent for us.

may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon us and may He guide us in the right path

When I hear a Christian quoting scripture to a non-believer, it makes me cringe; it is like nails on a chalkboard....They use the same scriptures of Paul over and over and over.....At least the parrot you can train to say a variety of things.

noone who merely quotes what they read or hear without understanding it is smart...so I guess my answer is neither. Although I don't have great insight into the parrot brain....perhaps they understand? In that case, I'd go with the parrot.

The person who is smarter is the one who, because he/she doesn't like what other people have to say, actually take time out of their life to attempt to mock them because 'gasp' they have a belief. (right, wrong, or indifferent) Here's a thought, and stay with me cuz it doesn't seem like you've got that long of an attention span, how about, if you dont like The Bible, Christ, Christians, or anything having to do with it, dont spend your time in online religious forums obsessing about it. Or you could continue to go on asking completely irrelevant questions, that no real answer could come from, except that when you go to bed tonite you can do your little 'self high-5' because today you compared bible readers to parrots.
