I'm 41 and over the past 15 years or so I have gone on quite a few dates. In a twist of the norm, I have given my phone number to a couple girls I thought would be fun to go out with again but they never called me. The types I seem to attract are the types I don't really want to get involved with due to their reputations or personalities.
One girl that I pursued hid the fact that she was a lesbian... she used me as a 'beard' when I went with her to a bowling league one time and her mother was there.
At this time I haven't been on a date in about two years and have not noticed any girls 'checking me out' nor expressing interest in me in any way, shape or form.
Should I continue to look knowing it will only be harder to find a match as I get older or should I pack it in and consider myself a confirmed bachelor?
My fate is in your hands. Well, dating fate anyway.

I think you are too young to give up. There is someone out there, and you will find the right one if you keep trying. You wouldn't want to spend the rest of your life alone would you? Hang in there your sole mate will find you. Good luck and God bless.

DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE!!!I know this is cliche, but maybe you just haven't found the right woman yet.Things like that take time.Maybe when it comes to the dating scene you:
1. Act too aggressively and scare them away
2. Come across as too desperate or needy
3. Too picky when choosing who to be with
4.Just have bad luck with women

I'm sure there are plenty of older female singles out there too. You're not alone man!!! Maybe you should try personals or doing different social activites. College is a great place to meet women. Maybe go back to school, I've found all my gf's there. But don't give up. Also the best advice I could give you is this, once you stop looking for a girlfriend, you'll find one. That always happens to me. Let things come to you...let it happen naturally. Good luck!

Never give up dude. Guys can get girls while they are older much easier than women. You're attracting the wrong girls. Become more spiritual and look for a more spiritual individual. Not to mention, working out at the gym helps with self confidence and it'll help out in the long run.

Cheer up buddy ! I've had one date in about 12 years, and that was last month.
I no longer search but am online to flirt.
Don't GIVE up just accept the fact as you get older women get older and do exactly as you and I.
OH! 40+ gals that post divorced = better off than you.

Hey Stormy, don't ever give up. I'm 34, and my husband is 48! we got together 4 years ago. He was kind of like you, and I was getting out of a bad marriage. We started going out, had a blast, fell in love, and here we are. Don't look so hard- love WILL find you!

DON'T GIVE UP. YOUR SOLE MATE IS OUT THERE SOME-WARE.
TRY CHURCH EVENTS, AND LOOK IN THE NEWSPAPER FOR SINGLES EVENTS.

BE VERY CAREFUL IN MAKING YOUR CHOICES. FIND OUT HER GOALS AND HOBBIES. (ANYTHING THAT COSTS MORE THEN A LITTLE MONEY. STOP RIGHT THERE). DUMP HER.

MAKE SURE THAT SHE IS SINCERE.

DO NOT PRESSURE HER AND KEEP IT LITE IN THE BEGGING.

PLAYING HARD TO GET MAKES IT EASIER TO GET!

GOOD LUCK

Maybe those controlling cats you have are keeping the women away.
