We go to school to keep learning, to exercise our brains, to stay current with technology and to become productive member is a society that needs educated leaders and moer importantly... educated voters

Kidz 2day just wanna go 2 school 4 so they don't gotta pay rent n stuff. Like y would I move out when daddy could waste hiz lyfe payin 4 me to waste mine?

Some people don't know that going to school became a law because earlier last century when factories started being built, little kids would work cheaper than men, and men could not support their families. So part of the reason kids are in school at least initially was so that there was less competition and slave wages.
It's more than learning subjects though- it's socializing, learning how to get along with people outside of your home, making life long friends, and just maturing before you go out into larger society.
