For Barbers: How do I obtain a hair cutting license?

I have a life long experience with cutting hair but never went to barber school. Is there some sort of test that I can take?

no...you have to go to school...barbers only have to go for 1000 hrs in texas because you dont have to learn chemicles...if you want the full cosmetology licens is 1200 to 2500 hours depends on what state you are in..all of these hours have to be complete before you can take a test for your licens
