Your dog needs to go to the vet as soon as you can get her in there. Dog's don't get normal colds like we do, so most of the time, it's pretty serious and needs taken care of. Your vet will probably give her an antiviral/antibiotic shot along with some oral antibiotics. After about 10 days of pills, she should be fine!

Dont take this in a bad way but this is real funny. Because I recently had the same problem with my dog. I called the vet and they told me that it was most likely allergies and to give my dog one benadryl every day or two. Now my dog didn't sleep that long she was sluggish. But she kept gagging. You may want to call the vet and see if a benadryl is okay in your situauion. Also Benadry is sold in wal-mart,CVS, and walgreens. And probably some other places. You can buythe generic version at walmart or CVS.

I am concerned about you calling it mucus.
She is three months she may not have had all her rounds of shots. If there is any diarrhea, vomitting or complete lack of appetite such as turn away from a hamburger she needs parvo tested. I have seen parvo start with Nasty noses.
Kennel cough is very common and highly contagious but you don't usually see the snot. It is more coughing, sneezing, a bit of depression, slight lack of appetite and will run its course. However with the "mucus" she probably needs an antibiotic before it gets infectious.

First of all dogs are like humans, they tend to get the cold too. Your dog seem to me from what you are saying she has a cold and she might not be eating because her throat might be infected as well, so my suggestion is to take Zoey to the vet.

My dog is really hot from these humid days and nights. He also has allergies. But I would take Zoey to the vet.

Take her into the vet -- a little Benadryl might do the trick, but it's best to check with the pro before doing something like that.

Yes, she could have a cold (usually called Kennel Cough in dogs). Since she is not eating and is lethargic, she should be seen by the vet.
