why does my food smell so good when it goes in yet smells so bad when it comes out?

The process of decay is similar to that of digestion. Food is catabolized (broken down). It's my belief that many of our responses to odor is learned behavior. The smell of feces isn't inherently bad but we are taught from an early age that it is perceived as bad. I've always wondered if anyone out there has been taught the opposite of what the rest of us learn.

oh sheesh are you serious??? well how about its cuz it goes thru your body and all the digestion enzymes and so forth taking out everything that is good for your body and leaving only the bad waste to come out the other end....
i cant believe i answered this but yea

cause when it comes out it's not just food it's a bunch of mushed up food that has most of the nutrients took out of it and mixed with stomach acid and other chemicals in the body...duhhh...i'm 13 and i know this stuff...well maybe your just stupid or maybe your just bored i don't know...whatever...

because of the gasses and the breakdown of the food. as it digests it creates yuck! LOL
