because depression is an illness, and often there is a chemical imbalance in your brain, our your body no longer is able to cope with stress of life. Crying is an outlet that releases endorphins into your body that temporarily ease pain. Depression is a VERY painful condition, and crying is your body's attempt to relieve that pain, if only for a short time.

Please consult a doctor for therapy or medication. You do NOT have to live with depression. You do NOT have to feel this way. There is help available.

there is a reason you are crying, it is because you are depressed. it is o.k. to cry, it helps release the pain. ask friends and family for support, and see a doc, if it doesn't get better... good luck!

It is for a physiological reason. When your body releases tears, it is also releasing impurities in your system. That is why you have such a sense of relief after a good cry.
