i had a remarkable little black mama cat, she fed stray kittens,
baby mice and squirrels and even my baby skunk, as long as she was nursing, she'd accept anything I gave her, I had her about 15 yrs, then a man walking 2 pit bulls off leash let his dogs come into my yard and kill my cat and drag her off amd leave her about 1 block from my house

No, not that one, but I did see something about a mother cat that nursed a baby dog that was the runt of the litter. He couldn't get to his mom's nipples because his bigger siblings kept squeezing him out.

there is the one with the mice as well, where the cat raised them, and the one with the dog and the lion cubs.

I saw it and thought it was the cutest thing I've ever seen. She groomed them and treated them just like her own babies. Very cute story. It's to bad humans aren't as compassionate for the young like animals are.
