I have an uncontrollable urge (usually uncontrollable) to not be able to sit still, especially for long periods of time, and I always have to be moving a limb, usually my leg or foot. The only time my leg doesn't twitch is when I'm asleep. I noticed I twitch my legs / feet a lot more than normal. Some people suggested Restless Leg Syndrome might be it. Others said it's brought on by nervousness. But my leg will still twitch even when I'm NOT nervous. Its been like this for years, but lately it's gotten slightly on the annoying side.

I have seen a doctor. They said it was nervousness.

Why don't you see your doctor, rather than asking a bunch of strangers? It sounds like you already have at least an inkling of your problem. Get it confirmed or corrected (the diagnosis).

it is RLS (restless leg syndrome). See your doctor and he can give you some meds for it. Mine does it when I am in bed. My legs will just involuntarily jump. GRRRRR very annoying.
Good Luck.
