If the inmate does not serve the full 365 days, then, not enough !

If their system works like many of the others (and we have to assume it does), then the inmates have a system of bonus points / demerits. For good behaviour, they get time marked off their sentence, if they misbehave, it can be added back on, and if they do something *really* bad, they can even be "violated" and have additional time added on to their sentence. So there is no one set answer. The circumstances will determine it.

I believe 8 or 9 months with good behavior.

Depends on what you were convicted of. And if you are able to stay out of trouble on teh inside for a year :)
