I agree with you.....
When giving child birth it is a pain that you forget about the second you hold that new born child in your arms for the first time or see that child for the first time.
When having a toothache from an abscess or anything associated with it........that is a pain that is hard to endure and there is nothing pleasurable that is going to take your mind off of it.
If you have an abscess then I feel for you, I really do.
There is nothing more painful.

That is not the way that I hear it. I have had bad toothaches but the pain can be ended pretty quick with help from a dentist. Going into first labor for 36 hours is a lot worse and it doesn't stop as quickly.
And of course the dentist can give you a lot of painkiller without worrying that it will harm the tooth but an obstetrician has to balance your pain problems against the health of the baby.

Toothaches are pretty bad. I would agree, but I have squeezed out an almost 12 lb baby (not cesarean) and got a 4th degree tear. And I had 2 more babies after that, one at 10 lbs.
However, toothache pain is pretty much constant, and childbirth pain comes in waves, so it's easier to tolerate.

yes I agree. I've had 4 kids & none of them come close to a
toothache or headache in the eyes.
I know what you mean.
Child birth is limited. It is over soon. But toothaches are non-stop
The pain involves your neck & ear sometimes.
It is unbearable. You can't sleep, nor eat.

i totally agree with you. i have just had to have two weeks off work with tooth ache. oh my god the pain... had two lots of anti biotics, and still no joy.as silly as it sounds it wasn't until about the fourth day i could tell which tooth was hurting. in the end after a week with visiting the dentist every day he finally decided to take my old filling out and replace it with a new one. i felt that embarrassed about keep going but i was at my wits end. i even had to go the doctors for stronger pain killers. the dentist and i are on first name terms now, feels like i have known him for years.ha ha. by the way i have given birth, and i would rather do that any day than be in the pain that i was in with my tooth!!!
