Think about this for a second or two.

Don't you find it kind of ironic that people complain constantly about how politicians play politics all the time and make speeches designed to conform not to the truth or how they really view an issue, but rather to conform to what they believe the people want to hear?

And along comes a politician who actually gave an honest account of his impressions after personally and thoroughly investigating the situation - AND HIS PARTY KICKS HIM OUT !

What message does this send to other politicians who might be the least bit tempted to actually tell the truth as to their views and suggestions on solving some of the concerns our nation faces?

I can only hope that Joe Lieberman trounces both the Republican and Democratic candidates and sets an example for other politicians to share their honest views with the people they are suppose to represent. What a refreshing change this would be.

As a Republican I cannot be happier that you are trashing Lieberman. The farther you to the radical left you push your party the less of a chance that you can regain the House.

A midterm election of a two term President (who has alienated his base) during a protracted war and the best you do is a long shot at gaining the House.

Good luck, your political opinions archaic and have no real chance of ever gaining a foothold in the US again (outside of muddle headed college kids and old hippies). This is in part to your help in destroying even Liberals within your own party.

Well, the entire Democratic party is trying to kick Lieberman out of their ranks, so he is about as much of a Democrat to them as Bush is.

Sorry.

As long as Ted Kennedy draws breath, Lieberman has no chance of being "worst democrat."

By the way, Bush is such a lousy democrat that he's a republican.

Lieberman has been abandoned by the party that nominated him for VP in 2000. He will switch to an independent and win the Senate race in 2006. Sorry for being the bearer of bad news to the Dems.

It is the Democratic party that is splitting and falling apart. I look to see more Republican gains. Thanks!

Well if you want to qauntify it in numbers, he votes in line with Dems 90% of the time, so if you want to say he is the worst Dem in the world apparently only 10% of him is the worst part the other 90% gets to stay in the party.

Cool the first headless Senator in history, his body voting Democrat and his head voting independent, kinda makes sense.

I admire Lieberman for standing up for what he believes is right. If I lived in Connecticut I'd vote for him.

What are you talking about? Bush is a republican, not a democrat.
