Men are made differently, they are filled with testosterone and androgens that drive their sexual needs. Men are traditionally the aggressors in sexual situations, men are generally easily aroused and ejaculate quicker than women do. Men are visually aroused - just the curves of a woman's butt as she walks with her long tanned legs showing is enough to give them an erection. Men are also easily aroused verbally - witness all the phone sex lines, the pleas to "talk dirty to me", etc. It is said men think of sex something like every five minutes, which is absolutely ridiculous. I consider myself a very sexual person, but I have never thought about sex every five minutes unless I was having it (or about to). Men hit their sexual peak in their teens and peter out (lol) as they get older.
Women are a bit different. Their cycles are monthly, there is a natural dip in the libido and a spike at ovulation, although some women claim to be more excited around their period, others are turned off. Women are slower to get excited, but once they do they can have multiple orgasms and stay excited longer. Women are not as visual as men, they respond more to emotional cues. Women have a harder time "sport screwing", they like to feel an emotional connection and a fight or bad feelings beforehand can turn them off entirely. Women hit their sexual peak in their early 30's. Women can be quirky about things sexually, they like things a certain way but don't always communicate or even demand their needs, then complain when they don't get it. Women aren't aggressive enough and men expect that, they are not mind readers (what an understatement!). If you read ads for gay men looking for partners they are very explicit and specific about their needs and wants. Can't give you examples here because half the words would be edited out, but I"m sure you get the picture. Men appreciate this, and respond to it, and it turns them on, but women sometimes have a problem with it.
So I guess there's not really one answer to your question. It's a combination of things. There are women who are always wanting sex too but it' not solely for physical reasons, sometimes it's the emotional connection, they want to feel loved, the need validation they are attractive or sexy, or the enjoy the power they feel when they seduce and conquer. It's not just the immediate physical reaction, attraction and subsequent physical release like it is for men. The important thing is that women have the potential to enjoy sex as much as men, or even more so if they are in touch with their needs and ask for or demand what they want and need.

Men and women are equal when it comes to sex. The problem is that males and females hit there sexual peaks at different ages. Males are 16-18 and Females are 20-30. You will love sex even better If or when you get married. Cuz i hear it is better for married couples anyway.

They don't. Some men and women have higher sex drive. Many women love sex just as much as men. Some women love it more than men. It can be satisfying and sometimes people aren't being pleasured as well as their partner.

I think that is the assumption because of how society has treated the sexes differently. Eventually I'm sure it will be the other way around. Women can have orgasm after orgasm after orgasm. We don't just blow our wad and have to wait. Plus, there are many more ways for women to have orgasms.
Right now it is finally more socially acceptable for women to have sex just for pleasure and I think in 30 years the roles will be reversed.

Where did you ever get that idea from?
In a monogamous, loving, adult relationship, women love sex just as much as men do.
Granted, some women do not like it. But neither do some men!

i don't know but it seems to me that hormones gets the better of us. but it doesn't mean we can't control it. It's just how much the girl can be so attractive to the guy's eyes and also we get a lot of stress from work than women do so we kind of releasing our energy thru sex...

women and men love specifically dont love it more than the other gender, its individualls from either sex that like it more than other persons....but men in general are not as subtle as women when it comes to showing that they like sex, which could lead to the misinformation that men like it more than women
