Don't listen to these self loathing no bodies - if you want her back then fight for her - are you really a virgin....? if so then well done, you have waited for someone special, and probably trated more women with respect in a day than most male freaks would in their life time. If she is the one for you then you must win her back. & best of luck. xxxx

Sounds like if you are genuine, you need a good kick up the butt, you're relationship was probably a short one - the main thing is you attracted her in the first place you need to work on keeping a relationship alive - try 'relate' counselling they will talk to you about any problems you may have encountered - please don't give up on love the right one is out there for you somewhere, don't threaten your x with suicide as that will gain you no respect - get your head sorted out - then get out there again a new and confident guy, most fellers go through rejection at some point, learn from it your still young enough to have a family so stop hanging around feeling sorry for yourself....good luck.x

Grow the f*ck up and don't let a woman you don't have control your life. Be a man and move on. Things happen for a reason and quit using your a virgin as an excuse. Take a look at yourself and see if there is something to improve and if so do it but quit acting like an idiot and be a man. Women will be more attracted to you for it

How could she be the woman of your dreams if she left you? The best thing you can do to this other man is let him keep her.

Plenty More Fish In The Sea!

Go on the pull with your friends or join some clubs / evening courses etc and meet some people.

I just read the first few answers, I am sorry you get this kind of reaction. First of all why did you loose her and how can you be a virgin while having her as a woman of your dreams? what was wrong with taking it further? I think if you are looking to get her back you should in fact write a bit more details here, so that you get suggestions, dont' you think?

If your feeling suicidal, you shouldn't be on this board. You should be calling first call for help. And if your a 40yr old virgin that explains a lot of why you lost the girl. Get some help!

First of all, call a suicide prevention center and get help for what you're going through right now.

Second, get a good therapist.

Third, hang out more with friends, and meet new people, lots of fish in the sea!

Suicide is not the answer. You're just probably feeling all emotional due to being with this ex for a period of time. To be honest i would not bother trying to get her back im sure there are tons of people around your age just like you. Most people in there forties split from people close to them.
