You should read the Bible a little more... Adam and Eve had more than just two sons.

HA! HA! HA! That's a great question and identifies you as a heretic! Wish we had more like you. Way to go!
As for reading the Bible more carefully, and/or the idea that Adam and Eve also had daughters, even if either were true, that would mean that the children of Adam and Eve committed incest.
Barring the moral implications of that, the biological implications are at least as scary.

Both Genesis one and two are accounts of creation. It is very likely that one account of the creation of man covered only Adam and Eve and the other concerned males and females other than Adam and Eve.

The OT is basically a story about those who god chose as his and all the others who he didn't. So it wouldn't be way off base to say that the second account was about other peoples.

Later on when Cain was worried about other people killing him it spoke of cities....not villages.

If there wasn't two seperate creations of men and women then the second account serves no useful purpose.

It depends upon your interpretation of the Bible. Some people recognize the symbolism found in the reading. I, for instance, believe that Adam and Eve are symbolic of God's creation of mankind, not just one man and one woman.

If they only had 2 sons then there would be no other population as I doubt they would sleep with their mom with their father around.
