It's called, Unchained Melody." The move "Ghost" made it a popular song. That was the Righteous Bros. version.

The song was written in 1955 by Alex North and Hy Zaret for the film “Unchained” in which it was sung by Todd Duncan the famous baritone in Porgy and Bess. Later in the same year an instrumental version by Les Baxter was released in the USA swiftly followed by a vocal from ex-Duke Ellington vocalist Al Hibbler. This latter was released on the Brunswick label in this country and original copies change hands for a cool £50 on a 45! Another famous (and, some say, the best) version was released by our very own, TTFN, JY, Jimmy Young on Decca also fetching around fifty Quid on a little seven inch single! So, if someone in your local tries to tell you that they know all about this little ditty just regale them with the above information and, if this doesn’t have them spluttering in their pint, hit them with this list of UK chart placings that should have them running for the door!

It's called UNCHAINED Melody. Try that title and see what turns up. In the meantime, if you have any musical ability at all, you can work it out very easily from the chords:
G - Eminor - Cmaj7 - D7 (twice)
G - Eminor - Bminor - D/D7
G - D - Emin7 - Gmaj7 - Amin - D7 - G
And the middle part: C - D - C - Bflat - C - D - G (twice)

Have fun. (Sorry: this being "Performing Arts", I'm assuming you want to play it....)

Just buy the CD. Stop freeloading and let the artists get their royalties.
