Mayo, no im not kidding! just smother it on with a little olive oil then put a plastic bag over it 4 5mins then shower it off, its a bit uncomfortable but its worth it!!

Rinsing with diluted vinegar makes your hair soft and silky. The smell does go away. You could try some very diluted lotion.

heat up olive oil apply to dry hair, wrap in a towel, you can even let it sit overnight. shampoo it out.
Mashed up avocado works too, but it's expensive.
