I have this happen all the time with larger pills - first of all - don't freak out. Try drinking a hot beverage or water. If the water won't go down either it will have to come back up. If it will go down, the warm water should help dissolve the pill and make it go down. If things are going down properly, try eating some bread after you have drank your hot beverage. Good Luck!

Swallow as much water as you can... Juice or something like it will help.
Chances are that it went down - but having been stuck there for a nano second or so, left an impression on your esophagus. Don't worry, if you're not gagging or chocking. Just have something warm to drink followed by a cool drink. You'll see, you'll be fine!

you should probably drink some water and that will probably help the pill get softer and if you swallow again it would probably push it down but if that does not work eat something so it will probably push it down

You should be able to get some relief by eating a slice of bread and drinking something with it.
Good luck!
