Religions today are not the same as they were 2000y ago !
why?
let's see what bible says "the First Epistle to Timothy, which states: "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she is to keep silent."

actually not a single religion did respect the women or make them equal to men (before the 20th century)..
does GOD today approve things he/she/it did not approve 2000 or 3000y ago?
3000y ago it was OK to stone people..
no one was allowed to change his faith, in every religion renegades must die..

does that mean GOD's law is not suitable all the time and for every situation?

didn't the old people understand the words of GOD? if they didn't, why GOD didn't intervene?
does that mean all those people killed "for" GOD died invain?
what about the crusades.. the inquisitions.. all the atrocities done in the name of GOD,

The FSM never changes his mind.
He, unlike other gods, is consistent.

God allows "cultural" advice to be given to a group of people depending on the circumstances.

When Paul wrote that women shouldn't teach men, it was in a society where both sexes where embraced by Jesus equally but the new converts had come from a system where only the men had been educated. The women didn't even have a kindergarten level of education. So even though all this new found freedom was very exiting for them they had to resist the temptation to scream out their quetions during a church service and had to be content at learning under their husbands at home.

In todays society where men and women are able to recieve the same education, (and let's point out that it is chriastianity that affords such societal advances) both men and women can teach. Let's not forget the value Jesus put on women through the fact that it was a woman that he chose to be the first person to see him resurected and then to be the first to proclaim his resurection to others.

I'm a guy by the way. But my mother was a woman.

That's only if you follow the word of man. Religion is a man-made thing, and man wrote the bible. In my opinion, the bible was written by fearful men, not God himself. I do not believe God intended women to be silent always. But if you look at the way some things were centuries ago, women were seen as lowly, so you tell me.

i do under no circumstances substitute my thoughts yet I do often acquire new information that reasons me to ascertain issues in a different gentle. My thoughts is often open ... 24/7 ... on your thoughts and thoughts. regulations have been made to be broken. it somewhat is frequently via society changing or some thing starting to be redundant or previous. the only element that we can anticipate right here is substitute! Obama did no longer invent substitute. this is the actual consistent. God is often imperfect and incorrect once you already know that we are the Gods of our Worlds and we are people who create the truths in the international. We write a e book ... we come across greater information ... we re-write the e book. became into the 1st e book incorrect? No, no longer somewhat. For the information we had on the time it became into very precise. yet new information brought about the substitute later. God isn't incorrect because of the fact issues substitute and He might desire to alter with them or improve into out of date. he's being lifelike. If God had a closed thoughts we would nonetheless be struggling with off dinosaurs with the latest "Throwing Sticks" from AMF or POD (secure practices from Dinosaurs ... the latest in handheld throwing gadgets ... now completely deadly to maximum Dinosaurs ... T-Rex isn't lined and not lined under the guarantee ... no longer in charge for those eaten by skill of T-R's because of the fact you're good with ketchup and crunchy). There are no longer any blunders ... in basic terms studying reviews! i'm Dartagnon

God does change His mind from time to time.
He destroyed the world by flood. He said he was grieved by the creation. He wanted it changed.

He is sovereign.
Do you think that it is feasible for anyone to say you can't do that.
You can say it but it doesn't mean anything.

I am now asking why He didn't intervene with a certain aspect of my life.
I haven't got the answer yet.
I just keep asking. I'll get that answer, why because I'm not stopping till I get it.

There are many who say that God cannot change his mind, but those who think that way are setting up restrictions on God, don't you think? I believe God dislikes killing in all situations and also believe that Mankind mis-interpeted the times they claim God said it was OK to kill because of their stubbornness, not because God needs people doing his job. Why would he say vengence was his alone, if he wanted people to take up the practice. So we have stubborn people more than we have a God of catch 22.

God laws do not change, people change them to suit their own selfish desire, women too are not helping matters. As they no longer see anything good in their role as home makers. The man's role is to provide, proctect and shelter the woman while she takes care of the children and manage the home. when things were like that, everything was near perfect then came women liberation.

Woman was created from the ribs of man. she was not made from his head to top him, not from his seat to be trampled on, She was made from his side to be equal, from under his arm to be protected by him and near his heart to be loved by him. Religion did not disrespect women, man did.

God's know those who are fighting for His course....and He WILL DEFINATELY INTERVENE ON THE DAY THERE IS NO DOUBT ABOUT IT(JUDGEMENT DAY)

To answer your question I must point out that God's word is omni present, but man changes with the sign of the time, so let me now say that God does not change, only man changes. What your speaking of is the changing of man, not God!

NO! "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever." - Hebrews 13:8

Religions are an artificial creation of man, not a creation of God. When religions change, it is a reflection of the culture or of man not understanding what God intended. It is NOT God changing His mind.

God might change his mind, but until he gets someone to write a new Bible, the one from the past is what we have to follow. i agree a lot of things from when the Bible was written do not currently apply, but thats why you can pray to God and ask him.
