my greatest, the 1998 wildfires in florida, they went on for an entire month. We busted our butts, fought fire every day and in my county, saved every occupied home. We llost a total of 21 buildings i beleive, most of then hunting camp style. It was assume, watching the might of fire in a firestorm, pushing through with nothing able to stop it till the fire lays down then you pounce on it, hit hard before it can strike you again. But while it is my greatest, i never want to do it again. We all took risks that year and the fact the only firefighters killed was three while returning home to CA when their helicopter crashed, still amazes me.

I am a nurse and for training in university we had to do some ambulance runs. One night we got a call that there was a jumper on a really high bridge in town so of course our ambulance was dispatched to the scene. About 10 mins after getting to the scene, the jumper jumped off the bridge and ended up splitting his body in half on a fence at the bottom of the bridge. He obviously died on impact, but the worst part was that my partner and I along with some Police and other paramedics had to clean the scene. I still cannot forget that to this day.

It is called patient confidentiality. Would you want some people talking about you on the internet, giving intimate details of what could be the most horrific time in your life? If you want details watch Saved on the television.

Let's see...the greatest call I ever went on would have to be the one that never happened.
I actually got to sleep straight through the night without a single call interrupting my sleep! This a feat that hardly happens in EMS, and my coworkers could hardly believe it.
Now, that's a good call :-)
