that true knowledge in fact exists. If you do do not believe it exists then for you there is no such thing as true knowledge. If you believe true knowledge exists then, for you, it exists. If you belive it exists but you have never encountered it then you simply have to find it because for you it exists. If on the other hand you dont believe true knowledge exists then why are you asking this question? should you really be asking then 'why do people believe in something that does not exist?' However, you then fall into the problem of proving that something doesnt exist. For example try proving that God doesnt exist or Unicorns for that matter. So going back to my answer if you believe true knowledge exists then for you IT DOES!
Those of you who say knowing that you know 'nothing' is way too questionable a response, even from Socrates! If true knowledge is knowing you know nothing then how can you trust your decisions - important decisions - on nothing! Polemic over.Almost everything we say and do is based on what we at some time or another feel is true knowledge, factual knowledge, correct knowledge. In the light of being proven wrong about our true knowledge we then adopt what disproves our old true knowledge.
However, for me there is no such thing as true knowledge just knowledge! We decided wether knowledge is true, false, right or wrong based on what that knowledge does or doesnt do for us, society, or community or the world.
