Take her to the vet, ASAP. It's probably a urinary infection, in which case she will need antibiotics. But it could also be also be kidney stones or something even more serious.
This happened to my dog when she was about that age. It was a urinary infection, but they had us do a couple of follow up appointments after she finished the meds, just to make sure it wasn't kidney stones.
Again, take her to the vet. If the infection (or whatever else it may be) is to the stage where you can visably see blood with the human eye, it probably isn't going to get better on its own and could eventually lead to very serious problems such as kidney failure and death. She needs to get on meds as soon as possible.
If ist's a urinary infection, one or two rounds of antibiotics should clear it right up, but be sure to do a follow up appointment when she is finished with the meds to make sure the infection is gone. Just because you can no longer see blood doesn't mean it is necessarily cleared up.
Good luck!

you definately need to see the vet, and also get a sample of the urine so he can test it. The vet will probably want to do blood testing also. She may have Cystitis (infection of the bladder). Also possible bladder stones. These can b quite common in cavaliers. Both are treatable. Also recommend she goes onto a diet once shes better, Hills science diet have a diet called R/D to help her lose weight, very successful.

A severe urinary tract infection can cause blood in urine. When it gets bad enough the urine forms crystals and the crystals are like little spiky balls coming out through the urine. These spikes can cut, or scrape the urethra and cause bleeding. The dog needs antibiotics and needs to see a vet. They are gonna ask for a urine sample so be prepared. Good Luck:)

it could have a kidney infection but i have a cavalier and the same thing happened to her. it was lumpy as well. (i know very graphic but it may help) She wasn't the same either she was lying around all day and stuff so i brought her to the vet and it turned out she had a disease called parvo. a very dangerous disease that can kill. i was told that she has a slim chance of "making It" but she was treated and came out with perfect health. Hope this will help you but you should still bring her to the vet just to be safe.------------- Better safe than Sorry!!

My dog had blood in her urine from a uninary tract infection but you need a vet to tell you. Get her there quickly and make sure she has plenty of water. It may be something simple but she needs to be checked ASAP.

I agree, sounds like a bladder infection. The sooner you take her to the vet the better so you can have it cleared up and not worry anymore....

she could have stones which may be stuck in the urinary tract system... this will cause some bleeding and will cause dog to swell if not taken care of immediately and can result in death... take your dog to the vet as soon as possible...

Oh lucky you - those are the cutest dogs. But, I don't understand what your saying - you said it had a large WEE. (I DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT A WEE IS) TAKE HER TO THE VET IMMEDIATELY. PLEASE - TAKE CARE OF YOUR LITTLE CUTIE PIE. Good Luck and I hope that your dog is ok - I love animals.
