I LOVE the colors you chose, what a great mix! I just got married to my Soldier in July, and we had a Non-Military wedding, very romantic and traditional. BUT I did wear combat boots under my expensive wedding dress, lol! I bought them at Army Navy and noone could even see them since my dress was so long. It was very cute, and boy oh boy was he surprised! Pictures were very cute too. Also,Go to ebay and look under military weddings, bride of soldier,Etc. and see what comes up. Good luck, and SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!

My husband wore his choker whites for the ceremony. He looked so great!
Instead of the traditional bride and groom top for our cake, I had a sailor and bride instead. I found it through the Navy Exchange, but I'm sure the Army Exchange carries Army themed ones.
Our wedding colors were red and yellow, but for my garter, I decided I wanted the Navy colors, but couldn't find one that had the colors, (Wonder why...Their blue & gold! Lol) so I had my mother-in-law make me one, and she sewed a little anchor into it! It was so cute.
We had the tunnel of swords, and that was probably the best part of it! We both got really emotional when we seen that. The funniest part of the day was when my normally shy husband and his sailor friends got up and sang Anchors Away! I'll never forget that!
I hope you have a beautiful wedding! And enjoy your new life as a Military wife! It truly has it's rewards!

My husband is in the army I didnt get to have a military wedding because we literally had 1 week to get married before he got stationed out of state. I think you should leave the military clothing to him but I have a friend who with all her bridesmaids lipsync soldier boy at the reception. VERY CUTE! and it feels really nice to be around a buch of soldiers in there class A's so decorate with soldiers instead of clothes. besides all the soldiers I know love the chance to celebrate Congrats and good luck.
P.S. in your search engine type in military las vegas weddings they have lots of pictures of real weddings not like elvis weddings or anything but maybe you could get some ideas from there!

I know the Air Force has whats called a "Family Support Center" on each base...and you can get info/join military spouse groups...even as a fiance.
That would be a great resource. Hopefully the Army has an equivalent.
Congrats!

Congrats.
With him just being on his Army Blues would be enough. You can have the groom party or his military buddies do the sword path, it would be wonderful.
Don't do a cake topper thoughm they are Soooo tacky! And I don;t think it would be good on a pink and chocolate cake anyway.
You may incorporate the military theme on the wedding favours or on the centerpieces. You can catch lots of sales after the 4th of July and ger son patriotic theme items.
Congratulations and good luck

Go to the U.A. Army website and see if there is a website for military wives. Maybe you can contact the base Chaplain and HE can get in contact with a spouses group to contact you. Good Luck and Congrats!

First off congrats!! I think you could find an army bride/broom cake topper or any kind of army themed cake topper would be cute. There's a lot of ways you could incorperate an Army theme with the cake. Definitely get the sword arch if you can, if it were me & if I could only have one miltary thing worked into the wedding, it would be the sword arch.

I think having a couple of his buddies from the army there would be nice. You could have every one wear a ribbon supporting military in the war. That would be cute.
