Anarchy? Are you kidding me? There still would be laws! Just let credited universities get the funding that is needed to move science into the 21st century. Allow women the right to choose and stop trying to trash the very principles that this country was administered after. You all make me sick. Be an American first and a religious fruitcake second. You walk around blindly accepting the fairy tales used to organize man long ago. Grow up, get off your knees and start walking.

I am talking about you being compassionate towards you fellow Americans. Your vote is worth just as much but why are we even making laws about these certain items? You say you don't push your values or try to convert us, but then you put laws to vote that take a great country and make it into a Bible Diorama!!! Screw you all, keep waiting at that bus stop for Jesus to return you twits! You hearing me? People returning from the dead is some sick *** way of thinking. You are all stuck in a medieval cult and need to help the rest of us move the human race forward. Thank You

The Ten Commandments are laws for dummies. Human compassion and peace existed before them because if they didn't then we would've died long ago. It is common sense. Something that you all lost long ago. .

Christian 'Dominionists' (Reconstructionalists, Theonomists) have largely usurped the local level political apparatus of the Republican Party, and are engaged in a sub rosa process to politically motivate moderate Christians under the false cover of religious issues such as morality and family values. The goal is nothing less than the takeover of all elective offices in the USA.
Their doctrine comes from the Bible, starting with the term 'dominion' at Genesis 1:28... “And God said unto them, [Adam and Eve] Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have DOMINION… over every living thing.” They interpret DOMINION as: “... a supremacy in determining and directing the actions of others or in governing politically, socially, or personally.”
They want to remake the USA as a theocracy... and they are succeeding.
Its most common form, Dominionism, represents one of the most extreme forms of Fundamentalist Christianity thought. Its followers, called Dominionists, are attempting to convert the laws of United States so that they match those of the Hebrew Scriptures. They intend to achieve this by using the freedom of religion in the US to train a generation of children via home-schooling and in private Christian religious schools. Later, their graduates will be charged with the responsibility of creating a new Bible-based political, religious and social order. One of the first tasks of this order will be to eliminate religious choice and freedom. Their eventual goal is to achieve the "Kingdom of God" in which much of the world is converted to Christianity. They feel that the power of God's word will bring about this conversion. No armed force or insurrection will be needed; in fact, they believe that there will be little opposition to their plan. People will willingly accept it. All that needs to be done is to properly explain it to them.
All religious organizations, congregations etc. other than strictly Fundamentalist Christianity would be suppressed. Nonconforming Evangelical, main line and liberal Christian religious institutions would no longer be allowed to hold services, organize, proselytize, etc. Society would revert to the laws and punishments of the Hebrew Scriptures. Any person who advocated or practiced other religious beliefs outside of their home would be tried for idolatry and executed. Blasphemy, adultery and homosexual behavior would be criminalized; those found guilty would also be executed. There are two conservative Christian pastors in Texas who have advocated the execution of all Wiccans. Ralph Reed, the executive director of the conservative public policy group the Christian Coalition has criticized Reconstructionism as "an authoritarian ideology that threatens the most basic civil liberties of a free and democratic society."
By failing to openly confront this insidious agenda, we have sown the seeds of our own destruction, while these religious wing-nuts are paving the way to Armageddon with gleeful anticipation.

So let's throw out the fundamentals that form the christian religion...Don't honour thy father and mother, Don't worry about killing others or stealing and so on.
I agree there are fundamental truths and right/wrong, but these items are not so clear when every situation is brought into light: when a son kills a dad because the dad was hitting his mom, when a mother kills her unborn child by taking medication prescribed by a doctor, when a person starving steals food from a store.
Each individual in society will look at these issues differantly and may or may not agree with your decisions. But it appears, from your statements, that you only want the world to revolve around what YOU think. This is as dangerous as the far left or the far right (can we say Bush here).
As to your arguement about how society was ok previous to Christianity...dude.. have you studied Rome? There were slaves, people were fed to lions, people died of illness because they were poor (much as today).
In no way am I saying that you are wrong that things do not need to be changed, but before you start making blanket statements you need to really consider what you are saying. You come across as a 13 or 14 yr old with absolutely no life experience -- may not be the case, but this is how you come across. That or a Frenchman/woman.
To your comments:
You alluded to times that were more civilized than today .... I point to Rome and you discuss the points of the Crusades? You really cant differentiate the points in a debate can you -- go try winning a few LD debates then come back. Not that I agree or disagree with your view points -- but stop being a moron when coming back with points not related.
So we should now add the Islamic war declared against christians and the US...umm...wonder who has more blood now...getting close. And if you think the far right Islamic has not declared war than you are even stupider than imaginable.

Yeah. because of the fact us gays did that. It needless to say wasn't completed by skill of a on the instant baby-kisser with a seven 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous daughter. improve up. while you're no longer stoning disrespectful infants, or insisting rapists marry their sufferers, then consistent with danger you mustn't be telling others what to have self belief. You needless to say do no longer take the bible at face value so stop being a hypocrite and enable a individual have their very own faith and private interpretation.

Is there some specific law you are referring to? I seem to be seeing a lot of activity to suppress Christianity in the law, which the suppression of any religion by the government is expressly forbdden by the constitution.
So what law are you referring to?
Or are you just hating Christians in general?
My Christian brothers are knee deep in sewage and destruction in El Paso cleaning out flooded homes. Two nuns in 1906 rode a mule into Fort worth Texas and started a hospital. shame on those damn Christians. By the hundereds and thousands they have poured into the african wastelands and drilled wells and provided medical treatment to the poor, and they toil every day across America to raise funds and send food and shoes and textbooks...what assholes they are!
And what law in this land is created by Christians rather than by legislators?
Not one.
Democracy moves on and losers like you rail against the only people on this planet that are doing something to make things better.

It's because everyone in the Government was Christian when the constitution was made. And way back when, everyone Had to be Christian or else they were not socially acceptable.
Now, we're having fights about taking the words "Under God" out of the Pledge of Allegience. And we're not allowed to put the answers we want on Private Survey's if they pertain to religion.
After all, we wouldn't want to offend anyone.

The whole of western civilisation is based on the 10 Commandments. Do you really think the human race is ready to govern itself in a world without consequence? Mankind is not sufficiently advanced to live in a world where the highest authority is the self.
The only proof required is a drive through the slums of any city anywhere in the world, or better still, a visit to Africa where 8 year old kids wield AK47 rifles and kill with impunity.

The last I checked, American laws had to be written and voted on by people who were themselves voted into office by the American populace.
You can call this force if you like, but you would be utterly incorrect.
Perhaps you should vote on election days. And/or take a course in American government. This should clear up your confusion that laws are forced onto people by Christians.

A Christian cannot and should not be in favor of a law that goes against their beliefs. It would be morally wrong and indefensible to vote to allow situations in our country which they feel are against their beliefs and conscience. Just as you vote for laws from the basis of your unbelief, they must be allowed to vote from the basis of their belief. Christians feel that evolution, abortion, gay marriage, and restrictions of Christian sybolism (10 commandment displays, nativities, etc. ) have been forced on them by the unbelievers in our society. If they protest, they are called intolerant, gay bashers, haters, and worse. If they keep quiet, they are called hypocrits or irrelevant. Christians have as much right to inject their beliefs into the social intercourse of law and government as anyone else. Maybe you don't think Christians are smart enough to contribute effectively to society. Would you like to see each of them granted only three fifths of a vote like the blacks had at one time? You may not like it but they have equal rights to vote their conscience, just like you.

You are forced to be a Christian by law in America? News to me. Could you please present these laws that I had somehow missed? Now if you are to talk about Muslims, that is a different story. It is against the law to not be a Muslim in Saudi Arabia and in most Islamic countries it is against the law to publically preach Christianity.
We have no such laws in America, anybody can believe whatever they wish and blab it on the street corners if they like.
