Actually, if this lens is for an autofocus Minolta SLR you will be able to use with a Minolta Maxxum 7D or 5D. Unfortunately, these cameras have been discontinued but you may still be able to find a used one. Your only choice in a compatible new camera would be the Sony Alpha 100.
If this lens is manual focus, then you won't be able to use it with a DSLR. You would be able to use it an "adapter" on the Olympus e-series (see here: http://www.rokkorfiles.com/olympus.htm) but given that the adapter costs more than that lens is probably worth, I'd say it probably isn't worth your while.

No. The old Minolta MC and MD lenses are not compatible with the Maxxum mount, which is still in use on the Sony DSLR.

most probably you could get a minolta dslr. but even then its as good as throwing your lens and getting another set of new dslr as konica minolta is no longer making any dslr. konica minolta is now making dslr and lenses for sony. im not sure if the new sony alpha dslr is able to take minolta mount lenses.

you do no longer say what lens mount/physique you have. many times, if it suits a contemporary Nikon, Canon or Pentax, etc it is going to restoration their digital SLR bodies. Older lenses won't have finished function. case in point, the Nikon D40 demands lenses with the motor vehicle-concentration motor interior the lens itself for vehicle-concentration to artwork. the different Nikkor lenses will could desire to be manually focussed. For digital bodies, it is going to hide the equivalent of 40 two-135mm, a classic to telephoto variety.
