ignore all those people that says you can't.
Yes you can emulate PS2 on PC, however emulator is very prone to problems, as PS2 games are not actually meant to be played on PC. And I've never seen, to this date, a really good emulator (well if a good one exists, I'm sure PS2's sales would go down like waterfall.).
Tips: There is also emulators for other consoles, like Arcade, Nintendo, PSX, Gameboy, etc.

just write
emulator for ps2 in any search engine and there will apear alot of diferent emulators just pick and play
and emulator emulates that the game is in a real ps2 so for the game it thinks that it is in a ps2

theres a diffrent lens in the pc and ps2 if u try playing a ps2 disc on the pc it will not work the same thing will happen if u put a pc disc in a ps2 all u would do is make funny noises lve done i once dont bother.

you will need a ps2 emulator but to tell you the truth the ones i have used in the past are all crap, i dont know for sure if they actually got a good one out there yet.
and you will need a dvd player as well

You may be able to get a botch, but in fact the architecture used by a PS2 is so different to today's PCs it is unlikely to ever work properly. In a PS2 the main chip is connected to the video adapter by a very wide-band junction. In simple terms, a PS2 main chip is connected to it's video adapter by broadband, while your PC's main chip is connected through your motherboard to its video adapter by dial-up... You can probably get something close, but never get to light that cigar.
