I totally do - and that was a huge mistake because it was like saying that their original recipe which they had for so many years had to be fixed!
And then the kicker was when the NEW coke didn't sell as well so they went back to the original brand but had to change the labelling. What a waste.

The only thing that made the d***stuff new was they swithched from Pure Cane Sugar to High Fructose Corn Syrup, and those marketing people.
Personally I will walk a mile to get a Coke bottled in Mexico where they still use Pure Cane Sugar, and yes it makes a difference!!!!!!!
Also try Dublin Dr. Pepper made w/PCS instead of HFCS you'll see, big difference.

Yes - I do remember it - what a nightmare. I tastes the New Coke, hated it - and ran around town stockpiling the original Coca-Cola - as much as I could buy. Yuck - that stuff was nasty.

I do remember that, although I was pretty young when it came out. It was awful! Do you remember the clear colas too?
