What is your take on this break in the infamous JonBenet Ramsey case? Is this her true kidnapper/killer, or just an insane pedophile obsessed with the case?

Does anyone still think her parents and/or other family member(s) had something to do with the murder?

I personally still think her parents had something to do with it - even if he is the one who actually comitted the crime. I will not feel that justice has been served if they don't find out the truth about that - even if he is convicted.

I am not sure what to think . I still think that he is just there to say he did it for the publicity of it. There has been to much about the case that has been made public to say that he is the one that committed the crime. Jonbenet's autopsy is available to look at online. John Karr is going to have to give information that is not known to the public and related to the case. He said that he snuck into the house before they got home and wrote the ransom note while he waited for them. The problem with that is that the ransom money that was asked for was the size of John Ramsey's bonus check at work. Coincidence? He said that he was there two days before the murder for a christmas party but no one remembers seeing him there or knows if he was on the list of guests and his ex wife says he was in another state at the time. His brother was supposed to have worked for the Ramseys but the Ramseys deny this and they can't find his brother for questioning. The autopsy is believed to show that Jonbenet had a stun gun used on her before she was taken downstairs and John Karr says that he followed her downstairs at a request of her parents. If you are going to kidnap a child why take them to the basement to leave the house and stay in the house to abuse and kill the child? Why not leave out the front door and abuse her somewhere else where you won't worry about getting caught? How do you accidently strangle a child? I can't see where he is guilty yet . His lawyer is trying to get him shut his mouth and plead not guilty but he is too eager to confess to the crime. There is an old high school friend that claims she has his confession on tape from 2001 but they can't use that as evidence because they can't prove that he is the voice on the tape. They couldn't find any debris by the basement window to show that someone entered the house from the outside. They found a baseball cap outside in the yard with the same intials as what the ransom note was signed with but it doesn't belong to John Karr. The paper and pen used to write the ransom note was from inside the house. John Ramsey was the one to find Jonbenets body and they carried her upstairs and placed her under their christmas tree in the family room for 9 hrs waiting for the coroner to arrive. They disrupted the crime scene so bad during the first 48hrs that they may have lost enough evidence to be able to convict anyone evidence or not.

Karr suffers from "celebrity syndrome",nothing more.I believe him to be an opportunist who craves attention from the media and loves being the focus of the world.
Do I think he killed that poor little girl ,its very doubtful, his story is riddled with glaring holes.Could he have ? I doubt that too but time evidence and the DNA will help towards that.
I still feel that the mother killed the child in a rage of jealousy after finding her husband molesting the child. And the husband was an accessory to the cover up.The mother was living vicariously thru her beautiful child by placing her in the sleazy world of child beauty pageants. And she saw the daughter as a rival not as her own child.
I only hope that whoever did commit this heinous crime will face justice although the mother is already dead, the father is still alive .

There was a tremendous expense paid for by the government to bring John Karr to the United States from Thailand in the aftermath of very intense investigatory procedures.

If Karr did not commit the crime and if Karr is nothing more than someone who suffers from some mental illness, a lot of people in government are going to look awfully stupid.

They have said before, they have reason to believe the intruder scenario, however, I kinda believe the parents had something to do with it. Perhaps John Ramsey called this guy up with some sort of blackmail, and made him come forward. But, we won't know anything for sure until they test the DNA. Besides they have DNA and prints; why haven't they compared them yet, publicly. Match=guilty; No match=not guilty

Good Question. That man makes me sick every time I look at him he gives me the creeps. With that said I didn't thinik he did, but the more evidence they continue to dig up it looks as if he maybe the one who did it. He talks about a party he went to at their house a few days before the murder and how he talked to the girl and gained her trust at the party. He then said he unlocked a window in the basement and came back a few days later and waited in their house until they got home then proceeded to wake the little girl up telling her that her parents wanted her downstairs since she remembered him from the party she didn't scream for help. He then go on to say he strangled her but she was still breathing then he hit her in the head. The little girl's head was split in half. I didn't believe he was the one at first because he looks like just a pervert, but in light of all this new evidence it seems like he did. He is truly sick to do that to a little girl. I will be glad when he is convicted, because I can't stand to keep seeing his sick as- on the news. I don't believe the parents had anything to do with it and I feel sorry for them for their loss and for them always being looked at badly in the media.

i'm waiting for the DNA evidence in the previous I leap to any conclusions. There are only too many unanswered questions. He says he raped and drugged her, however the post-mortem confirmed no evidence of medicine or rape. He watched the case obsessively, yet in accordance to the specialists on new child molestors that I observed, that doesn't greater healthful the profile in any respect. they're meant to be people who attempt to cover what they have carried out, and who may be the 1st to tug their jackets over their heads and say "no remark." he's granting interviews, for goodness sake! The specialists have been asserting it fairly is greater possibly that he's only approximately like an obsessed fan who only desires to be pointed out with the case. He has witnesses that he grow to be midway around the country that night. yet there are various unusual issues occurring with him. A pupil had a image of him with a image of a teddy bear only like the only they found that mysteriously appeared in her mattress room. i do no longer think of he's to blame on the subject of her, yet i do no longer think of he's very suited interior the pinnacle, the two. what share grown adult adult males do you already know which could spend their time in reformatory analyzing "the secret backyard"?

I have always had a feeling it had something to do with her dad. I still feel that way. I don't know if this guy killed her and the dad paid the guy to leave the country or if the dad did it and this guy is just a sick person or what. The dad has something to do with it. I had a feeling even before the police announced they were checking them out.

The guys is definately nuts, but that doesn't mean he's a child murderer. Crazy guys confess to things they didn't do all the time. According to his family, he was on the wrong side of the US when she was killed. We'll just have to wait for the dna results.

Crazy and innocent. I still believe that Patsy wrote the ransom note because she was the only "person of interest" who deliberately changed her handwriting after JB's death. Read Steve Thomas' book for more info.
