try taking a walk ............get out in the world and experience it once again .........
it is normal to have slumps ...............just don't stay down too long !

Seems to me like you need to break up the monotony of your days. Don't go straight home. Stop at the book store; buy a new book or a new CD. Visit a friend. You seem to maybe suffer from a very mild form of depression or a very major case of boredom. There is nothing wrong with taking a short nap. 90 minutes can do wonders for the soul. But then get up and DO something. Put on some music and dance around the house. Don't let this period in your life just pass you by. You have to be an active participant in every day of your life.

Trish...god, you and i are exactly the same! i work 730 - 430. i don't sleep well, i usually fall asleep around midnight if not later and wake up at 630 to get ready to go to work. I come home, watch tv, sometimes go out to dinner...but for the most part do nothing. i feel you...and i'm in the same rut, so i'm not sure what the solution is. just thought i'd let you know youre not alone. maybe go for happy hour drinks with some co workers or something. i got my boys every now and then to go shoot some pool or go to a baseball game, but i do notice going out is much more effective in getting a good nights rest.

It's because you are working a weird set of hours. My neighbor works 11 to 7, and she ends up having two periods of sleep. She comes home from work by 8am and goes right to bed, then wakes up around 1:30 and is awake until 6pm, then sleeps again until about 9:15 to take a shower and get ready for work.

Maybe you have depression. And by the way, I think that 9 hours of sleep is a lot better than 8!! Eat a lot of fruits and veggies to make you more energized and healthy, join a gym and workout at least 2 times a week, and a boyfriend would probably be really nice.

Are you depressed? sick? maybe you need to go to the doctor and have a check up, it could be a mental thing or a physical thing? I work the same kinda hours and I go to the gym everyday after work and I find that reinvigorates me for the rest of the day. Good luck!!

u r overstressed and overworked.. also u don't want to face the problems with social life.. just get out there more u know just make some friends, talk to a few guys etc etc.. just relax n take it easy n get out more.. go to a bar for a drink, go to a movie whatever u like..

cuz your life is probably sucking right now, find a hobby or start dating, or do some RPG games on the internet, it takes up lots of time and gives u something to do on the computer.

cud be as you say that you havent got something to do when you get home.... so how about finding yourself something, from a hobby to study to whatever, just something that takes up some time before dinner ???
