where are default icons located in mac osx? ICal a good example.?

I have changed some of my icons, no problem, but I would like to know how to change them back

Try clicking on the application, File to "Get Info", click on the icon on the top left of the info window, and hit delete.

If that doesn't work,maybe you can restore it by replacing the .icns file within the application:

Control-click on the application, and select "Show Package Contents". Go into "Resources", and find the file with the extension .icns.
