Do you think there should be a product to solve this need?

I think that twist ties and masking tape work fine, but the cords still always look really ugly and just an eye sore. I'm sure that there will be everything in wireless soon anyway.

um yeah, there are products already! You wrap the extension cord around a little wheel, keeps it nice and neat, i hate when power cords are all tangled!

There is a product, actually several. They are called twist ties and rubber bands.
