The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. Get a fitness calculator that you can put on your cell phone and computer. This will allow you to easily calculate this formula, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as white potatoes) and drink lots of water.
Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/p...
*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.
Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with excellent resistance training routines that will not get you bored is "Muscle and Fitness". Signup for the free newsletter.
A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.
*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.
*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Email me if you want a good indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have other questions.

Oh! Here's what you do. Never eat out, if you do, make it be like a Subway or something (but don't put any sauce on your sandwiches, that stuff has some serious calories!). If you want to lose weight fast, cut all the excess sugar out of your diet (if you need to, pick a day of the week to be your "cheat day" but don't eat too much sugar!). Don't eat much meat, and if you do, make sure it's a white meat, such as Turkey or Chicken.
Exercise for at least 1 hour every day. Running and swimming are the two best exercises you can do to lose weight fast. Playing Tennis or Raquetball are also excellent ways to lose some quick weight. Dancing is also a great way to become slim.
My experience is this:
During the summer, I had to train for my first Triathlon. I cut almost all the sugar out of my diet (Monday was my cheat day), I almost never ate out (and when I did, I went to places that served sandwiches and wraps), and then I alternated with the three events in a Triathlon (Running, Swimming, and Cycling). Day 1 I went Running, Day 2 was swimming, day 3 cycling, day 4 running, and so on and so forth. On top of that I went weight lifting every other day.
This made is so I was building muscle and losing fat. Now, I only lost 13 lbs, but, I went from a size 16 to a size 10 in 3 months. I haven't been this small since I was 11 years old, and I feel awesome! Even though my Triathlon is Saturday, I am still going to keep up my schedule and my diet. Now, if I eat too much Sugar, I get sick, whereas before, I was just craving it all the time.
I will be the healthiest person that I can be!

A quick way to get into an outfit that doesn't fit too well is to lose water. People, especially women, retain water for whatever reason. Women tend to retain a lot more water than men. I was taking this workout supplement that had some natural extracts that help you flush out the water in your body, and I saw a difference of about 5 pounds in my weight overnight. I remember I kept going to the bathroom because everything came pouring out.
As far as losing weight goes, exercise is a definite way to get there. What you want to do is do some cardio first, like running or aerobics, and then hit the weights. Weight are the best thing you can do, because what happens is that even after you finish your workout, your muscles still keep burning calories.
But the real secret is to accelerate your metabolism. The faster your metabolism is, the faster you'll process foods. So that means that your body will quiclky convert everything you eat into energy and it won't store it as fat around your belly.
You can do this by eating every 3 hours. Eat a piece of fruit or yogurt. Not chips or cookies or anything like this. Also, take vitamins. There's this myth that vitamins make you fat, but that's not true. Vitamin B1 is very good at helping you lose weight because it helps process carbohydrates and it helps accelerate your metabolism.
Just be careful you don't drop too much weight all in one shot because you might feel sick. Remember to eat healthy meals, and above all get enough sleep.

Ok, first of all, don't do any pills! They are soooo bad for your body! Second of all, don't starve yourself cuz once you start eating again, it'll all come back on.
I have been doing a common sense approach in which I've dropped 5 lbs in 2 weeks.
Just wait until your hungry. Wait until you feel that hollow, growl in the pit of your stomach. Then, eat just enough to make that feeling go away. You may feel like you're eating more often and that's ok. As long as you are truly hungry when you eat and don't overdo it!
It's not a diet. It's a way to train your brain to want food when it truly needs it. If you cut out carbs, the weight will come back. Even when I did weight watchers and had to stop because I couldn't afford it anymore, the weight came back on. The program I'm using is the Weigh Down Workshop. Now I know that a lot of people don't agree with Gwen Shamblyn's personal beliefs, but her program is so common sense that it's easy to do. Also, journal. Write down your thoughts, emotions when you eat, what you eat, etc... It may give you a better understanding of why you eat when you're not hungry.
For me, I'm an emotional eater. I eat whenever I am sad, happy, angry, bored, etc... It's been hard to not eat when I'm emotional. I just find something else to do!
Finally, don't deprive yourself of anything. If you do, you'll end up splurgine on the stuff you "can't" have. You can eat anything. Just wait until your hungry and don't overstuff!

First, be patient and second consult a dietist or doctor to see your case because a professional advice can change your life and improve your health. Meanwhile, stop drinking soda and keep away from junk and fast food, eat your favorite food in small plates and drink 8 or 10 glasses a water a day, include fruits, vegetables,cereal and light milk. Good luck!

Top weight loss tips
Today there is too much information available on losing weight that has become more confusing and sometimes difficult to follow. It’s actually very easy to lose weight if you follow my weight loss tips.
* Be in right frame of mind
Before you can start any diet program you need to be in the right frame of mind. If you do not feel good about yourself you probably will not want to choose healthy foods. You cannot expect the act of going on a diet to make you feel better about yourself. The only way you can choose to eat a healthy diet to lose weight is if you have a positive self-image.
* Eat whole food
Top weight loss tips
Eat whole foods that are as natural as possible. When you eat whole foods that are full of nutrients your body will know how much to eat and how much not to eat. You do not have to count calories because your body is a wonderful machine.
* Eat fresh fruit
Eat at least two servings of fresh fruit every day. Choose whatever type of fruit is in season.
* Drink enough water
Drink the best weight loss supplement known to man, water. Most people do not know the difference from being hungry for food or thirsty for water. A great deal of times people eat when they should drink. Most likely you will not feel as hungry if you are getting enough water. You will be satisfying the thirst, which is confused for hunger. Water also helps you digest food better. Drinking water before you eat will help fill you up.
* Always chew your food
Always chew your food well. Chewing your food well will ensure that you get the most nutrients out of your food. Getting the most nutrients will satisfy your body therefore you will eat less. Another benefit of chewing well is that it helps aid in digestion.
* Take small meals
Eat small, frequent meals in a day. Large meals tax your digestion system, making it work harder. Taking too much time in between meals makes you hungrier for the next meal.
* Include protein at meal
Include good sources of protein at meal, chicken, fish, legumes, peanut, cottage cheese, eggs or yogurt.
* Shut off TV while eating
Shut off the TV whenever you eat – that includes meals and snacks. Studies show that we automatically eat larger portions when we snack in front of the tube, and typically those foods are high in fat and sugar, which means excess calories!
* Increase your physical activity
Increase your physical activity. Most people are over weight because of a lack of physical activity. Start walking more, bicycling, walks your dog for longer periods of time, swim, dance and leave the car at home when you can. It’s important that you choose a physical activity that you enjoy because you’ll stick with it.

Portion control and calorie counting. Eat 5 small meals a day. This keeps your metabolism working. It takes calories to digest the food.
Just don't consume more calories than it takes to burn in a day. Water. lots of water.
If you are exercising that is great! movement is the key. all of this is a safe and effective way to loose weight. and keep it off.
