I have tried healthy eating and exercise every morning, which took off two inches off my hips, but the waist is the exact same size. I can't get it thinner, just the hips. Are there any ways to help the waist slim as well?

Simply put...genetics.

There is no such thing as targeting fat loss.

You need to continue losing fat...and may never have your idealized ab measurement.

Do the best you can...and learn to love yourself and be happy with the reults.

You lose weight from the same places you gained weight. YOu just aren't patient enough or dedicated enough.

try to exercise more in your waist area.., and hmm.. if it will not cause you pain, try to Tuck in your abdomen every now and then, if its not that hard for you and you got used to it already, do it every time.. it tightens your abs..
