hi i have some videos from windows media player and i wanted to know can you get them to play on a dvd player? if so could someone please tell me how thanks in advance

I assume you mean wmv when you say "in windows media player".
unless it's copyright protected you can convert to DVD Files using DivXtoDVD. The "old" freeware version is available from here... http://www.free-codecs.com/DivXToDVD_download.htm

Alternatively some DVD players will play some video files such as wmv, avi, DivX or XviD. But if yours did I guess you'd know that already ;-)

You need the following & you should by able to copy most Video.

1.DVD rewriter also called a burner
2.Nero 6
3. DVD shrink
4. DVD decrypter.

If you have these then you just need a bit of knowledge.

If you have Nero burning ROM 6 installed...you can do it easily...just select the option burn dvd video disc....and add any kind of media file...nero will convert them automatically into the dvd vedio format....

If you have downloaded the films you will have to format the movies to play on your DVD player.
