Example, they want eveyone to believe the Judeau-Christain God, and the Islamic God are the same. Yet, they always use the word "Allah" instead of God. Why? To divide religions.
Same with the words Islam and Muslim. Lets define those 2 words.
"Islam" is the readiness of a person to take orders from God and to follow them. "Muslim" is a word taken from the word Islam. It applies to the person who is ready to take orders from God and follow them.
Now, in the Koran, the Koran states that various biblical people stated they were muslims, which of course would have been impossible, as the very language itself was not created. So, what Moses, Abraham, etc would have said " I follow your order" or something to that effect. But, the muslims will interject their "muslim" word, saying Abraham procalimed to be a "muslim" as in meaning the religion, not the submission, or the following of God's orders.
I dont have enough room to show the hundreds of daily examples they attempt ...

to divide religions on. But when called out, they say "We believe in the same god, and Allah means God in arabic." And then later try to apply the same word bending tricks again.
Why cant religions just leave each other alone?
Why do people have to kill others for "God"?

If you research the word "Allah" the muslims start crying about it. It come from the word Allilah.
Thats when they cry about the moon god, cause that, as well as the crescent moon as star symbol comes from , Alilah the pagan god from Mohammed's time.

I must say I find your question quite amusing!! You ask, "Why don't religions leave each other alone" Yet you have given us a lecture on Islam history and how bad, twisted Islam is you accused them of trying to divide religions. I must say I haven’t heard that one before and believe you me I have heard allot about Islam!! I also find your question quite contradictive! You state that Islam believes biblical people state they were Muslims and Muslims also believe that Abraham was a Muslim etc.. If that is true what they claim, that means they believe most if not all of the earth are Muslims that my friend is called unifying religions not dividing them. Further, you made an assumption some where in the middle about something being impossible!!! My dear friend nothing is too hard for god and nothing is impossible for Allah. God bless you and may you find the right path.
Kind regards

Why? Because not many languages have the word to describe God. I am a Muslim. When I pray, I usually use words such as "God", "my Creator", "my Lord", etc. We do not use the word "Yahweh" because we believe that the scriptures of past prophets have been corrupted. Allah is the name which was revealed in the Koran.
Islam means submission to Allah. A Muslim means someone who submits to Allah. When Abraham proclaims he is a Muslim, he means that he submits to Allah, he is Allah's slave.
Only Allah Himself knows His intentions for revealing his name in the Koran. I dare not comment on that. As for "the moon god" theory, this is a misconception, probably because at this time, the cresent moon is popular as a symbol for Muslims, which lead people to believe that it has something to do with Islam. The "moon god" idol found did not indicate any form of worship, and it was not found in Mecca. It was not during the time of Muhammad.

Not really true for all muslims, some call Allah, God and some Khuda, Rab, the list goes on . . .
However since the word Allah is of neither gender and cannot have a plural form probably thought to be the best as people cannot not say Goddess or Gods as the creator is above that.
To look at the word Allah more closely maybe research it.

Hey hey hey...slow down
MOON GOD?
I'm Arab and I know what an Arabic word means!
Allah is the greatest name for God
God has 99 names as we believe...the greatest name is Allah which includes all the other names.let me explain for you:
God means in arabic: Ilah....The prefex Al is an arabic prefex means in English: The so Al-Ilah means The God...Arabs cahnged the word from Al-Ilah to Allah: The God.
God as Christians understand is a collective word for the Father , Son and the Holy Spirit....That's why we try not to use this word because we believe in one God only and he has no sons....
Muslims never worshiped the moon and stop saying this because in the Koraan it's stated clearly not to worship the sun or the moon.
And for Abraham and Moses being Muslims this means that they had the same Islamic faith and beliefs in their languages...the word Muslim which you wrote it's correct definition when non Arab applies this definition to himself he will be Muslim in Arabic or Hebrew or any language..Koraan used the word Muslim which is the synonymous for the word they used in their languages and this is it..
And for the crescent moon this is a symbol for Ramdan month . You know that Arab months are lunar months..they begin on seeing the crescent moon...Ramadan moth is the month which Muslims fast in the month of Ramadan and Allah blesses worshippers and gives them more reward in this month...not a symbol for giving more importance for the month itself but Allah was the one who choosed that monthto be a special worship month...And the crescent moon doesn't signify by any mean any pagan God as you said..I think it's enough when you know that the first thing you do to be a Muslim is to say by your tongue and by your heart I believe there is no God but Allah..And as I said before Allah means :The God......ANd Allah includes all the 99 names like the mercifull , the creator , the powerfull , the generous...etc

Muslims prefer to use the word Allah because it is non gender specific...and to the person who said Allah is the arabic god of moon. as an arab I can tell you it is not. Allat with a T is supposed to be that. The ancient pagan arabs did not deny Allah's existence but the problem that their beliefs had was that they said Allah had 3 daughters Allat (notice the T), Minna, and Al ozza. They worshipped these 3 god because they thought it would bring them closer to Allah (with the H) this belief was later corrected and changed by Islam when it restored Abrahamic faith in one and only God

Islam is a religion, just like Budhism or christianism, and "muslims" are the people that follow Islam as a religion. Two different word.
Other thing is the word "Allah", meaning God. Just like the guy above me said, It can not be in plural, like gods.

For the same reason Americans would use english words if they were in other countries. Do you think Americans in the Middle east would start calling God "Allah" just because they were there instead of in the US?

God is the word which can be played around. The word 'Allah' cannot be played around with.
U put son in front of God..it becomes Godson. U put daughter infront of God, it becomes Goddaughter. U put ess infront of God, it becomes Godess; female God.
U cannot play around with the word Allah. Allah means One and Only Lord. He has no son, nor daughter nor is Allah a female. Read Surah Iklas. Chapter 142

Tolerance is a personal decision that comes from a belief that every person is a treasure. I believe that America's diversity is its strength. I also recognize that ignorance, insensitivity and bigotry can turn that diversity into a source of prejudice and discrimination.
To help keep diversity a wellspring of strength and make America a better place for all, I pledge to have respect for people whose abilities, beliefs, culture, race, sexual identity or other characteristics are different from my own.

Why do English speaking people speak English in other countries that don't speak it?? Worry about your own culture and beliefs before you criticize other peoples beliefs and cultures. I'm sick to death of people bagging the Muslims. Some of us want to live our lives in peace and quite not by having people ram down our throats that Muslims say this and Muslims say that and Muslims do this and Muslims do that. And No I'm not a Muslim I am a Christain who just wants this world to live as one and let people believe in their own beliefs Thankyou
