Nope! I always see Mexicans doing all the hard laborious jobs that everyone else turn up their nose to. All the haters and racists that discriminate because they watch FAUX news (propaganda) and label an entire race are too cowardly and WEAK too do some of the hard work I see Mexicans do.
I am not Mexican or of Hispanic descent but I have nothing but respect for all the hard-working Mexican women and men I see everyday. Haters say Mexicans are taking away jobs and they should go back to Mexico, but they themselves do not have the courage or stamina to do the tumultuous work done by the Mexican work force.
As for sending Mexicans back to Mexico? The labelers and haters do not know their own history to realize that all the Southern states bordering Mexico was stolen from Mexico by unscrupulous and uncanny European TYRANTS. Mexicans are not crossing Mexico to the United States...they are merely returning to their homeland that was stolen from them by invaders and occupiers!!
All the Southern states with spanish-sounding names were all part of Mexico. States like: Florida, California, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, the Carolinas, Georgia ... to name a few were all once part of Mexico.
No one mentions the large number of illegal Europeans that came to the US and still live here illegally, but, because of their 'skin color' they are presumed to be legal!
HATERS Take a step back in time and tell me how many illegal immigrants from Europe came to Ellis Island with any form of documentation.... That's what I thought you do not know the facts!!! Stop labeling people and accept them for who they are...God's Children like we all are.
So the next time you haters see a Mexican don't say go back to your country...they are in their country! You haters can do the world a favor by saying to the Mexicans "Welcome back home"!!!

I actually heard a comedian once say that stereotypes came about for a reason and there's a reason why *most are true. Every race has their good and bad stereotypes.
"Take black people. They're all "criminals" right? OK, that's the bad one. But they also have big dlcks."
White Americans have a stereotype, or many. In California, the stereotype is blond, plastic, orange tan, and tries to be rich and famous. New York, you must be a business person. San Francisco, you're a hippie or gay. Southern states, you have a farm and wear plaid.
Stereotypes were developed because of consistency in group. Right now, there is consistency with immigrants being Mexican.
A stereotype groups up, well, a group. That is why ALL Mexicans are in it right now. It wouldn't be a stereotype if only a few were thought to be illegal. It's now a stereotype because as a group, Mexicans have been coming here illegally more often and they've made a big deal about it.

All Mexicans are being stereotyped for the same reason every single race or ethnic group has been stereotyped. I am old enough to quote enough derogatory terms that I have heard over the years to fill an encyclopedia.
Whether you are a legal immigrant or not, you should be proud of who you are. Learn about your history as a people and realize what great contributions Mexicans (Incas and Mayans) have made to civilization.
It is easy to level personal critiscisms at people because of their circumstances and while no one can argue that illigal immigrants are breaking a Federal law. However, you or I do not walk a mile in their shoes.
I am previledged to know a large number of such Mexicans in the NYC area and some of their stories of getting here and why are compelling. Also, their work ethic is something to admire. Rather than judge or get into the current debate, I am grateful for my life in this country inspite of its faults, shortcomings and whatever else negative there is. The good far out weighs the bad and it makes for a better society if we can all see that.
Hey, "Give me your poor, your tired, etc. etc."
You know what I mean?

Not everyone thinks that way. It probably depends on where you are at. I'm part Hispanic and when I went to school I wasn't Mexican enough for the Mexicans. Then I went to another school and no one ever asked my nationality. So it depends on the person/people in question.
I don't dislike illegal immigrants. I think our immigration laws need radical change but some people are really here to provide a better life for their family. Parts of Mexico are horrible and unclean and unsafe. I don't hate people who are searching for a better life. If WE don't inforce our own laws then what do WE expect. We need to inforce the laws that we already have!
And I agree with the first post....this really was land that Mexico had...and Native Americans....I mean California has always had Mexicans. It's a much more complex subject then just yelling, "kick out the illegals"

So that must mean that you dislike your parents too. Well, mexicans will always be stereotyped. I also believe that mexicans cause a problem in the United States, however, I do not dislike them. These men and women come to this country in order to have a better future and to support their families, in this case you. I dont agree that they should come illegaly but i dont hate them. I feel sorry for them and their home country. If you have to hate someone you ashould hate all those corrupted South American leaders which cant provide a decent style of living for their people.

Imagrants have given many mexicans a bad name. I am not a racist, but i have noticed how Hispanic bad mouth all other races. On a poll they (Mexicans) were voted the least liked race in America. I feel they should work on that and become better people. Not all are bad, but enough to make the whole race look like crap.

"why are ALL Mexicans being stereotyped?", no why are all Hispanics being stereotyped. I'm an American with Salvadoran descent, and I hate that everyone thinks that all hispanics living in this country are considered Mexican, and since they think we are all Mexican, they think we're illegal too, not just actual Mexicans. Mexicans are not the only hispanics in this country and are not the only ones being stereotyped.

Not everyone thinks that way, but it doesn't help those who are legally here when there are demonstrations by people here ligitimately in favor of illegals. I am highly in favor of strict sanctions against people here illegally. I find it very disturbing that people who broke the law by entering this country are now demanding things of this country. Get Out!!!! For those immigrants who are here legally, it is very unfortunate to be lumped with criminals.

Because that is what a stereotype is - when an entire groups is put together and a certain trait assigned to them by the general consensus of the population.
