I used to have a Lhasa Apso and he was fantastic! The best pet ever! Now I have two puppies, a German Shepherd/Catahoula mix (she's 8 months old, had her for five) and a wire-haired miniature Dachshund (she's three months old, got her on Monday). They're good dogs, but I'm still reeling from losing the Lhasa so they are going to have to prove themselves to me. I think the Doxie is my forerunner so far though - she loves to cuddle.

I love Black Labradors. My Black Lab, our family dog who lived for 19 years, was a Black Labrador. He was loyal, friendly, playful, and pretty smart. Chip saved our cat's life when he noticed that she was slammed between two doors and was clinging for dear life on the sceen. He ran out of the house and found my two year old nephew when he wandered out of the front door and into the street...stark naked. Yes, my dog Chip was a wonderful dog, a Black Labrador, and every Black Labrador I've ever met since then reminds me of my noble friend, Chip.

i have a husky and she is insane. huskies are not a good pet to keep in house, believe me. i love her but she is so stubborn, she barks like a madman, and even at 7 months no one has been able to housebreak her. on walks, she will pull so hard at her leash that she will choak herself and when left outside she digs holes deep enough to be grave-worthy. definitely a breed of dog that should have been left wild.
a friend of mine has a golden retriever. it is so well behaved, loving, and was easy to train. it's great.

Shetland Sheepdogs or Shelties for short. They are smart and very protective. Excellent dogs for therapy pets or for agility training and competition.
