"God" as we refer is a personification of a force that is otherwise beyond explanation. The myths and stories surrounding God and us in his image are a combination of two human desires. The first is the desire to understand and be able to explain our surroundings and the second is the desire of people to be superior. Hence the ancient theories that there is a man-like god who created everything and made humans to be like him. So, if you're going by what's written down about the myths, you would have had to ask the authors. If you're talking about what it is trying to explain, absolutely not, it's an energy that you can feel and that you are part of but by itself, it doesn't have a physical form to see.

Genesis 1:26 Then God said Let US, make man in Our image,according to Our likeness:

Isaiah 53:2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground,
He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that that we should desire Him.
3. He is despised and rejected by men,
A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid,as it were,our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

Those that were here when Jesus walked this Earth & before He asscend to Heaven, saw Him,God, Lord Jesus in His chosen human form.

God is Spirit and we must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

No He does not look like us humans. Nor does he possess any of our human attributes. If you can imagine what is the greatest thing that you have ever seen in your life and multiply that by 1000 and it will still not compare to what Allaah sub hanna wa'ta ala looks like. The only way you will ever find out what He looks like is when the day of judgement comes. Then and only then will you be able to see what He looks like. So be patient and wait.

God is a spirit and therefore has no physical characteristics. We only know that we were created in his image, meaning we have the ability to love, to forgive others and be merciful.

God, his son Jesus Christ, and the angels are SPIRITS, who do not possess fleshly bodies as we do. We were made in God's image in that he gave us his attributes in limited form, such as love, intelligence, and free will. The animals don't have these things, being driven solely by instinct.

I believe He does have a body similar to ours, but not exactly the same, because He is immortal, glorified, and can't get sick, there are probably some essential differences in the body structure from ours in order to be in that sort of glorified state.

best wishes
