To the contributor that said homosexual behavious was biologically determined, I would point out that is incorrect. There is no robust scientific evidence for a biological determination for homosexual behaviour patterns.

Rowan Williams presides over the international congregation of Anglicans, approximately 80 million people, which contain greater desirable than 2 million Episcopalians interior of america. His church is split over subjects of homosexuality and gender. some Anglicans merchandise to the ordination of ladies and gay adult males as clergymen and recently their election as bishops. final month Pope Benedict provided disaffected Anglicans the possibility to transform to Catholicism on the same time as nonetheless keeping a number of their very own traditions. as an occasion, married clergymen can proceed to be married under the pope's grant. ( it somewhat isn't any different, this has continuously been allowed, a guy could be married beforehand of fixing right into a clergyman, yet as quickly as a clergyman he can not be married ) The Vatican has been accused of "poaching." Vatican officers insist the pope is only "achieving out." Anglican priest Christopher Pearson is heavily considering the grant. "The issues that we've taught and the existence we've lived, and the gospel that we've proclaimed has been continuously rejected or no longer needed," reported Pearson. The archbishop called the Vatican's grant "the elephant in the room." yet in Rome, Williams made a element to assert that his church would not back down on the ordination of ladies. to show out , there are Lutheran , and Episcapalian Priest ..(married) already in in the Catholic Church...they have been there for some years.. the Pope is in basic terms letting the Anglicans comprehend the regulation and coaching of God has no longer been adjusted to in advantageous condition the % of any society, and that they are welcomed in to the Roman Catholic Church

Don't know what the issue is. God condemns Homosexuality and His churches should do the same.
Homosexuality is an abomination unto the Lord. (and me too)><>

I doubt it. People don't care enough anymore about church policy to do something so drastic. We've come a long way from who we were as humans back when we cared enough to have the Protestant Reformation come about.

it is already split but it is reluctant to let the world know that they really cant agree on anything and that no-one understands what the great story book is trying to tell them

doesnt matter really - no-one listens to what the church has to say these days except the retired oldies and they'll all be dead soon. that will kill off the church too....

Maybe, but they will do a lot to promote it, when their only criticism of it is 'god says it's wrong', rather than it not being nature. Children ignore their statements and might be inclined to think of it very seriously, when rebelling.

There will always be differing opinions, but I hope it will remain together. This issue shouldn't be one that is so divisive. Does it really matter if people are gay? I doubt God minds.

I'm sure it will, as it's a fact that it's biological and unless they realize that God made them that way...they are judging where they should not judge.
