No No No, email is a perfect way to flirt and set up a meet. Not a date just a meet. Something like drinks after work, or during work. Its a good way of saying exactly what you want to say and not saying what you dont because you can read it over and modify anything you dont think is as smooth as you think it should be, because after all the first few conversations no matter in person or not are the most important and make or break a date. thats my perspective though, I score on a chick in person, on the phone, email, or any other way for that matter. This is just my perspective on your question.

Umm I have no idea. Never tried that one. Probably either they are really shy or possablly afraid of rejection. This way if they get rejected then they won't be face to face. Has this person met the other person. Maybe he met over the internet.

because it is easier for them to ask the girl out. In person they get all shy, well some of them, over e-mail they don't have to look at the girl's face, and if she says no, it's easier to take then in person.

They are too shy to ask you in person! They wouldn't know what to say or do if they asked you face to face. lol It is better, in my opinion, to be asked out through e-mail then through a friend! Well I hope it works out well!

They do this because they are not face to face with you that way if you say no they aren't stuck in an awkward situation of deciding whether to walk away or just talk and stay friends with you

um, it really is sort of obtrusive that definite, it really is awkward to ask a guy out on e-mail because traditionally, it really is the guy that must be a guy and ask the girl no longer any opposite direction round :)

i think that they ask over email becasue they are losers, and they are not man enough to do the right thing and are probally afraid of rejection,,,, so this way if you say no then they do not feel as stupid..

dont think that applies to all the guys... and gals do the same too... i think its becoz they dont see the reaction of the other person.. and feel its easier to ask them by email...

it is because they are either:
a) scared to ask
b) scared that you will say no to them in person
c) they think that it is cooler to email
Anyway, when i ask a girl out , it is always in person.
