What would people do if it came out that Jesus was gay? How would people reconcile what has been said on this subject with this fact?

Personally, I think people would not believe it, no matter how definitive the proof (e.g. even if Jesus outed himself to the world).

This is a hypothetical...I'm not saying he is or is not.

This is a serious question. I want to know how people would react if it were found out he was gay, and therefore accepting.

What was meant by the phrase "you people"? Yeah, I'm gay. I'm not in the closet. I don't hide my sexuality. I have a question and I wanted to pose it to people to see what others thought.

There is a document called the 'secret gospel of Mark' that has an episode where Jesus has an implicit sexual encounter with a young man (it is the young man who fled away naked at Jesus' arrest in Mark's gospel). The book is not canonical, and many think it is a forgery. It is basically the gospel of Mark with some additions that are not in the N.T. However, there are some who believe that the text in question was original to Mark's text (most likely the first gospel written that was included in the N.T.). The gospel reads more smoothly if one places the omitted text into the gospel of Mark. In the 'secret gospel,' Jesus heals the young man of a disease and then enters his house in order to 'know' him. There are definitely sexual overtones there. Anyway, not definitive proof, but there is some question in academic circles.

Now there are two ways one could respond to your question.
First, your question could be taken seriously and thus need to be addressed by a higher power of which I am not in a position to do. Secondly it can be taken as a joke and that's where I come in.
Tell you what, the heart attacks of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell would be heard with the greatest thud around the world. Or worse yet, they would personally petition Congress to put you away in a mental institution.
Hope you don't live in a BLUE STATE!

Or worse yet, they might individually petition Congress to place you away in a psychological enterprise. desire you do no longer stay in a BLUE STATE!

I wouldn't care. He's been decomposing for over 2, 00, years, now. I don't mind homosexuality, whatever knocks one out. That said, my opinion is perhaps not too good for this question, since I am neither a theist or a Christian, but rather an atheist Satanist.

Christians won't accept Jesus even as a human being, let alone a gay one.

It was nothing to be proud of when Jesus was alive so it wouldn't happen. It's only people who are really weird who have to declare to the World what they like doing in bed. Jesus had more self respect.

You're right, no one would believe it.

I don't believe Jesus was homosexual. But, I believe Jesus died for homosexuals. Gay people have hearts and souls. They should not be excluded by Christians who think they are better than them. I believe it is a sin, but I have sins in my life too, just different ones.

It's impossible. Gay = sin, whereas Jesus = free of sin. It's that simple, homes.

Of course he was gay! Not one female in his entire inner circle? And you don't think Jesus & Peter had something going on? I mean, how much more obvious can you get?

"Do you love me?" "Yes!" "Do you really love me?" "Of course!" "But, what I mean is, do you really love me, like, really really?" "Of course I love you!"

Sounds like two gay guys bickering to me. Heck, i've heard that conversation more than once at the bars, so yeah, sounds like Jesus & Peter had it going on.
