I do not want to put dairy/animal products. The bar has flour, glucose, and honey. I use old fashioned oats. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

The granola bars break apart when I cut them or hold them up. I do not want to put dairy/animal products. I can't use oil. The bar has flour, glucose, and honey. I use old fashioned oats. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Do you use shortening? Most granola bar recipes use shortening since it makes everything stay together better. For example, empanadas use shortening all the time. Hope that helps!

Soy milk or a liquid form of fiber (powder fiber that you add juice or water to will work too.)

maybe some marshmellows? do you use high-glutein flour? what if you put corn starch instead of flour?
