With which I mean the concept of 'nothing' - if nothing exists, and therefore nothing does exist, not even nothing (aye..), does that frighten you?

I am not afraid of abstract concepts. I thrive on having my non-existent brains pulled out of my imaginary ears and fashioned into a pretty bow beneath my missing chin. I am, perhaps, masochistic in such tendencies...

Is Dark Matter nothing? Intergalactic space, the space between galaxies, even has molecules and floating crap. Nothing is an abstract concept that does not exist in physical reality. Would nothing be the ultimate in Order? Total lack of any variable, nothing to interact with anything else. Could be peaceful. And sterile.

I'm not afraid of "nothingness," if that's what you mean. I'm not sure that is what you mean, however. I'm not sure if YOU know what you mean. I'm pretty sure nobody else knows what you mean. It seems as if parts of your question cancel each other out, so maybe that's the nothing you mean: the nothing that this question represents.

I think I am more afraid of everything than I am of nothing. "Nothing" I think I can handle. "Everything" - oh my! What if "everything" exists.....that spooks me.....especially when I think of what "everything" can entail. *shudders* But "nothing" - pffffft that would be a breeze. Because if there is nothing out there then there is nothing to fear. :)
