I am very glad that you have confidence in Atheism dominating in the future. However, it seems that the only reason Christians do the things they do (like give money to the Church) is to get brownie points with the man above. Just because we aren't organized enough to pool money together to open a hospital or something of that nature doesn't mean we don't stop to help our fellow man. Sometimes helping someone doesn't mean sticking money in a collection plate, sometimes it means helping someone on the street when they are lost, or letting them use your cell phone to call for a ride after their car broke down. These acts don't result in a hospital being named after Atheists. Just because you don't recognize that Atheists can be good people without the bible doesn't mean they aren't.

So I guess you never hard about agnostics and atheists like Warren Buffet (atheist) donating 30 BILLION dollars of his personal fortune to charity? And then don't forget Bill Gates either.
Where'd you get your statistics? Some site that counted the number of donations as opposed to the amount donated? Of course the atheists are going to come out as "the least giving"...They only make up 10% of the American population (as of 1997 and that with agnostics lumped with them).
My experience with so called Christian Charity is that it come with strings attached. I prefer to donate anonymously to secular charities. Oh wait, now that would be another possible explanation to your claim that atheists do not give back to their communities. Maybe we just don't shout it from the rooftops like you do.
It's good to see that your son is thinking on his own. I'd call that evolution.

Assuming you are not an atheist, I think you are being a bit hypocritical. Not only are you "bashing" nonbelievers and exhibiting extreme prejudice against them, you are making up statistics and how evolution is speculation (I'm sure lying is against some sort of moral code in your religion) . Evolution is just about as much speculation as the existence of gravity and bacteria.

I feel so sorry for you, you poor lost man. I can only guess you would have been one of the crowd that put Galileo under house arrest for saying earth moves around the sun. I call it the head in the sand syndrome. Rise up and see what man really is. I dont trust you people because you do things for the wrong reasons. On top of that religious people have been the most violent of all people throughout history and still are.

I usually stay out of the "atheist" vs. "christian" debate because it's boring and shallow, however, after spending enough time on this site to get to level 3, my objective observation is that christians spend a whole lot more time running people down who do not believe like you. I put my money in the beggar's hand and not in the machine you call church. You bore and annoy me...not atheist by the way.

Being ethical, compassionate, and beneficiant are human capacities that have not have been given something to do with spirituality. the two believers and atheists could be like that. yet, confident, Buffet and Gates' certainty might desire to break many believers' annoying stereotypical declare that atheists are all immoral. thank you! I believe the responder previously that do-gooder atheists are the main ethical. They do good only because of the fact of inner compassion without exterior dogma telling them to accomplish that and without incentive of greater credit to bypass to heaven or reincarnate into greater desirable beings.

I work at a hospital, I see what you don't see.
How easy it is for you to pick us out and generalize-but I donate my time and money to (2) local shelters (Christian shelters mind you) and I try to make the world a better place for all of us.
As for your son, I don't know maybe the apple does not fall to far from the tree.

Warren Buffett, an atheist, is giving 31 billion dollars to charity. What a greedy, ungenerous guy he is!

Interesting. Where did you read that?
I visit children's hospitals twice a month with my dog, to let the kids roll around with him some.
I've got a breast cancer walk coming up in a couple weeks.
And I just finished volunteering for a silent auction raising money for two boys who were shot in the head by their Christian father. (One of them survived.)
What have you been doing with your time, 57Chevy?
Edit - Oh, don't bother... reading your other questions, I see you've just been out looking for ways to please a woman... Good luck with that, Skippy.. :)
Go away, little man.

I saw a news article this past week saying that Americans actually view Athiests as the lowest of all people? Lower than Islamic people, Immigrants, etc.
It kind of made me wonder how exactly they can believe themselves better than us? I mean, the fact that they do not believe in God means that they believe in nothing right? How exactly can you expect to prosper when you believe in nothing?
The best part about this is the fact that WE will have a future because the majority of folks believe in some form of Religion or a higher power.... Atheism is just a fad, with people who have no imagination, no belief in anything other than what they see in front of their face.
