I'd be to shock to react at first, but then I'd grab them and bet them down until they resemble the color of the road get in my car drive over them and then flee the scene because someone has notified the police and we go on a highspeed chase at which point my car goes over the road and flips several times in the air i escape unscarred and the police does not arrest me because I'm in my rights to defend myself and in a moment of pure panic i over reacted at least that is if some one i didn't know slaps me, don't get me started on how I'd react if someone i knew slapped me in public :-)

Not a realistic question...you are more likely to encounter a talking dog then a B**** slap in public.

Honestly my first reaction would just to stare at that person, with my hands holding the slapped chick and maybe with eyes wide open. If the person is still in front of me once i got my bearings she'll have a slap of his/her own. (my reflexes are slow when caught unaware- and i so want to change that.)
